1. Could you tell us your story on dropping down?

It was in 2008 when I first came to the minor league training with the arizona team the pitching coordinator wanted to change my throwing method because the other way that I pitched was very outside the strike zone. it was a very difficult year since it was my first season as a professional that year, an ERA of 5.27 in 27 innings thrown

 2. What are some of the advantages you have from your arm angle?

the advantage that we have when we throw under the arm is that ir makes it easier to work the right handed hitters, even though we also get some that we can get out to the left handed hitters.  Also something else is that it helped me be more comfortable releasing with that angle

 3. If you didn't drop down, do you think you would have had the same success?

well I tell you since I started to play professionally in an orginization,  I can throw under even though I have many complications in the organization, I can compete in two play off and a championship despite that if I tell you that as the time went by, things got better and I was not able to return to the organized baseball and I was able to leave my mark with the American Association

 4. What would you tell someone debating on changing their arm angle?

the answer I would give to someone who would like to change angles would tell you that it is easier and runs less risk of injury, besides that there are few pitchers who can control pitching and maintain a good speed

 5. Are there any mechanical tips that you'd give to someone throwing sidearm/submarine?

I would say that when throwing with low arm slot, it is only to stay in line towards the plate, and to be able to have consistent command when releasing the ball

6. What pitches do you throw?

the releases that I have right now are the straight four seam, the sinker, slider and now I'm working on a change of speed this year in the independent my speed reached was 96 miles per hour but the average of my speed is 92, 94 miles per hour

  7. How do you pitch to lefties/righties?

well I try to work with first pitch strikes. It does not matter if left or right,  then I can work at my pace because being ahead in the count I can throw something to the floor to see if the hitter go out chasing the pitch

8. What is your favorite part about pitching from down there?

What I like about throwing from down under is that I can throw more, with less risk of injury.
