Scott Feldman: Former MLB pitcher several teams

1. Could you tell us your story on dropping down?

Back in 05' pitching coach at the time was Orel Hershieser. He recommended it and I wasn't about to argue with that guy, especially as a 21 year old.

2. What are some of the advantages you had from your arm angle?

Got more movement, tougher on righties.

3. If you didn't drop down, do you think you would have had the same success?

Who knows. I know it would've taken a longer time for me to get a chance in the major leagues.

4. What would you tell someone debating on changing their arm angle?

You gotta be able to pitch in to lefties.

5. Are there any mechanical tips that you'd give to someone throwing sidearm/submarine?

I just threw it and let the movement take over.

6. What pitches did you throw?

Fastball, slider and shitty chane-up.
